Furthermore, you will improve your programming skills and you will learn how to use a variety of software tools that have to do with internet security, which will be tested to discover possible weaknesses they may have. Moreover, various invasion scenarios will be analyzed. At the end of the workshop you will have the opportunity to test your newly acquired skills with a series of challenges in the form of a competition. In case you don't have any prior knowledge on the topic, do not be alarmed! Along with the labs, there will be lectures from experienced people focused on computer and internet security.
The local commitee of Xanthi was founded in 2010 from students in the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Democritus University of Thrace. Back then our observer was counting only two members. It was with their persistence and efforts, that on the beginnings of 2013 a massive growth of registrations has occurred and now LC Xanthi counts about 35 active members and more than 150 registered members!
